This is an ideal introduction to the media. It is designed to give a good overview of the workings of the media, show how to use the media proactively and will highlight any areas where further training would be beneficial. It is fun and entertaining, we include lots of video clips to illustrate our points, and encourage audience interaction and the help of willing volunteers.
Who is it for?
- Heads of Service, Senior Managers and anyone who needs to use the media more effectively.
- Marketing Professionals, Brand Managers, Business Development Managers.
- Anyone who uses the Media to promote their activities, organisation or products.
- Non spokespeople who need to develop an overview of the media.
- Anyone who needs to create media interest in their activities or handle media enquiries. We can run this for any number of delegates, some of whom may be very experienced in handling the media, and others who may not.
Presentation and Methodology
What's it all about?
How can we use it more effectively?
The whole seminar takes approximately three and a half hours. It would be presented using a combination of Power Point, Flip Charts, Videos and interactive audience-participation. To break things up a little, we ask for one (or more) volunteers to take part in a practice media interview, where specific key messages need to be communicated. We would then replay the interview before the group, highlighting the lessons to be learnt from this random example.
