We have tailored a number of our standard courses to the needs of the ambulance, fire and police emergency services. These include Proactive PR, Media Workshops, Crisis Media Management, Media Awareness Seminars and others. Although we may not have adapted all of our courses for your particular service, there is no reason why this could not be done. Look at what we already have on offer and call us to discuss your particular needs or requirements. Ambulance ServiceAmbulance Services are constantly in the media gaze, because of the frontline, emergency nature of the services they provide. Both the public and media spotlight are constantly on them and the need to manage your reputation (and enhance it) is paramount. Ambulance Services Advanced Media WorkshopThis one day course for Directors, and Senior Managers within Ambulance Services is a tailored to issues specific to the delegates and also includes "disaster" scenarios like terrorist attacks. This is a challenging course covering theory and including hands-on interviews and analysis of video playback. Ambulance Staff Media Workshop]This one day course is designed specifically for ambulance staff and paramedics with no prior media experience. However being on the front line ambulance staff are often the people who will be questioned by the media and will need to be able to represent the service as a whole. Fire ServiceOur courses for fire services will give you a range of skills to handle those tricky live interviews for radio, television and local newspapers, at the scene of a major incident, as well as the more day to day media activities such as offering fire safety advice and fire prevention awareness campaigns. Proactive PR Workshop for Fire ServicesThis one day course for Communications Leads and Media Assistants puts an emphasis on using PR skills proactively to build media relations and maintain a good reputation with the press and the community. Fire and Rescue Services Media WorkshopThis is a tailored workshop for the Area Command Team and other key spokespeople within Fire and Rescue Services. Here the emphasis is on the theory and practice of press interviews, with practice interviews and video playback and analysis. Crisis Media Training for Fire ServicesThis is a practicle course intended for anyone who has contact with the media and may be interviewed or asked for information. This focuses on crisis situations where the pressure is high and the wrong statement can snowball out of control. Police ServiceThe Police Service is out in the community both during emergencies and in normal situations. Communicating with the communities is vital whether it is through face-to-face conversations out on the beat or to a wider audience via the media. Media Friendly has courses for all levels within the service and to address the varied audiences you have to face. Police Media Awareness SeminarIt is important that every single person employed by the Police is media aware in their daily duties because anyone could come into contact with the media. This is a fun and entertaining seminar covering all the basics with some audience participation. Police Forces Media WorkshopThis is a practical course for key spokespeople within the police services where we will focus on a range of topics that you may have to comment on to the media and includes a session with practice interviews which will be recorded on video and then discussed and analysed. Police Forces Proactive PR WorkshopThis one day course for Communications Leads and Media Assistants within Police Forces is intended to help you manage your reputation and image more effectively, even when things go wrong.
