[]:resources/photocredits.php Schools are often in the media. In fact many newspapers and other types of media have sections dedicated to education. And unfortunately the news is not always good news. The way a school handles the press can turn an unfortunate occurrence into a media feeding frenzy. The key is to be prepared for the unexpected. By having enough people within the organisation who are able to address the media and say the right things and who can be instantly available when a crisis occurs can make all the difference. We have a range of courses from half day seminars for larger groups to full day workshops involving mock interviews with playback and analysis. Media Awareness for ShoolsThis two or three hour seminar is ideal for introducing a large number of individuals to the basic skills involved in media handling, responding to press enquiries, promoting a positive image and avoiding preventable crises. Headteachers Crisis Management Media SeminarThis self contained half day seminar is intended for Headteachers, Deputy Headteachers and School Governors and could be appropriate for schools already facing a crisis in the making or those looking to be prepared for unknown future crisis.
