Get the message out to the streets

Drug Action Teams do important work for their communities and it is vital that all of the possible tools are available to get their message across, both to the people involved with drugs and to the wider community who will benefit from a better understanding of problems in this area and the programmes that are working to improve them.

The following courses are designed to enable Drug Action Teams to utilise the media proactively but also to be armed against attacks from journalist and groups with different agendas.

Proactive PR Workshop for Drug Action Teams

This is a one day training workshop designed specifically for the Drug Action Teams aimed at providing the skills to deliver key messages on a range of drugs related issues through the media.

Media Training Programme for Drug Action Teams

This is a Media Training Programme designed specifically for groups of five participants nominated by the Drugs Strategy Directorate and aimed at professionals from Drug Action Teams and DPAS Regions.
